This page is part of the Aerosol model (SALSA) documentation.
It contains a listing of default input parameters used to steer the SALSA.
For an overview of all SALSA-related pages, see the SALSA main page.
SALSA default parameter
SALSA runs with the default parameter values. By default, the aerosol particle and gaseous concentrations are set initially constant everywhere (initializing_actions = 'set_constant_profiles'). A minimum set of input parameters to be applied when this initialisation type is used, is:
- listspec and mass_fracs_a to describe the chemical composition of aerosol particles plus
- H2SO4_init, HNO3_init, NH3_init, OCNV_init, OCSV_init to set the initial concentrations of gaseous compounds plus
- nlcnd, nlcndgas, nlcndgash2oae, nlcoag, nldepo, nldepo_surf, nldepo_pcm, nsnucl to switch on aerosol dynamic processes.
