This page is part of the Aerosol Model (SALSA) documentation.
It contains a listing of default input parameters used to steer the SALSA.
For an overview of all SALSA-related pages, see the SALSA main page.
SALSA default parameter
SALSA runs with the default parameter values. By default, the aerosol particle and gaseous concentrations are initially constant everywhere (init_aerosol_type = 0 and init_gases_type = 0). A minimum set of input parameters to be applied when this initialisation type is used, is:
- listspec and mass_fracs_a to describe the chemical composition of aerosol particles plus
- H2SO4_init, HNO3_init, NH3_init, OCNV_init, OCSV_init to set the initial concentrations of gaseous compounds plus
- nlcnd, nlcndgas, nlcndgash2oae, nlcoag, nldepo, nldepo_surf, nldepo_pcm, nsnucl to switch on aerosol dynamic processes.
