HTCM output

This page is part of the Human Thermal Comfort Module (HTCM) documentation. It contains a documentation about the output of the human thermal comfort module.
For an overview of all HTCM-related pages, see the HTCM main page.

The output by the thermal comfort part of the biometeorology module is mostly (except for bio_mrt) two dimensional and is provided for the cell layer closest to 1.1 m above ground level. All parameters are available for instantaneous and time-averaged input. A list of output quantities can be found below. Output is written to a 2d xy file, where only the layer z=0 will be used.

For all revisions < 3742:
If output is desired for a thermal index with averaged input and at least one of its input parameters 'pt_av', 'q_av', 'u_av', 'v_av' or 'w_av', please always state the 'bio_<index>*_xy_av' quantities after 'pt_av', 'q_av', 'u_av', 'v_av' and 'w_av' in 'data_output'! If not, they might become averaged twice.

To enable the output of the given quantity, please add

The output of the thermal comfort calculation for agents is stored within the agents output quantities (*_agt files). Each agent thereby has its own field "ipt" holding the instationary index iPT.
