| | 5 | In this project, we will extend the PALM code to be able to simulate and reproduce the realistic turbulence structure of the ocean mixed layer (OML). Through PALM's results we can understand the processes of ocean mixed layer and ocean deep convection which plays an important role int the ocean circulation and Carbon cycle process. It is used to verify and improve the parmeterization of the vertial mixing process of OGCM (Ocean Gerneral Circulation Model). This project results will contribute to the developement of the realistic OGCM that make better prediction of the ocean and climate. |
